Terms & Conditions:

Any accommodation booking made on a ‘sale’ or discounted tariff is made under special conditions that differ from standard tariffs.

“Standard” & “Senior Special” bookings:

1. First night is payable at the time of booking

2. Reservations can be amended or adjusted up until 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival

3. Should you wish to cancel your booking you must notify the park at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival.

4. If notice of your cancellation is received within 72 hours to your scheduled arrival time, Parklands Motel Te Anau may retain all monies paid.

5. Deposits will only be refunded if the park is notified 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival.

6. If you do not arrive on your reservation date your booking will be cancelled without refund or credit.

7. Name on the reservation must be the same as the credit cardholder’s name and same individual must check-in for the stay

8. Credit card transactions fees will not be refunded.

9. Seniors card to be shown on arrival.

10. Offers subject to availability and blackout dates may apply.

“Early Saver Special” rate bookings:

1. 11. 1. Offer only available to book 14 days in advance. 20% discount off our Standard Nightly Rate.

2. Non-Refundable credit card pre-payment is required for entire stay at the time of booking.

3. Reservations cannot be cancelled, amended or adjusted after booking.

4. If you do not arrive on your reservation date your reservation will be cancelled without refund or credit.

5. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer and is not valid with any other discount.

6. Name on the reservation must be the same as the credit cardholder’s name and same individual must check-in for the stay.

7. No other discounts apply to this rate.

8. Offer is subject to availability and blackout dates may apply.

Group Bookings:

We reserve the right to charge a bond to all groups, refundable after departure if all rules are adhered to.

Reservations are a contract between Parklands Motel Te Anau and the person named on the reservation and is not transferable to any other person. This means that the named person must occupy the accommodation booked for the duration of the contract and is ultimately responsible for all occupants and visitors.

For group bookings this means one person is ultimately responsible/liable for groups behaviour and damage. Amendments to confirmed group bookings may incur a $30.00 admin fee, per change.

Group Cancellations:

Deposits will be refunded 90 days prior to arrival minus a $60 cancellation fee per unit.
50% is refundable between 90-60 days prior to arrival, anything less than 60 days prior to arrival, no refund can be given.
We also have a no refund policy once checked in.
Group bookings are considered to be two or more units booked together

Tariff/Prices:

Our tariffs are reviewed annually for the new season. Please be aware prices may change when booking in advance from one season to the next. Prices are subject to change without prior notification.

General Terms & Conditions:

Reception Hours:

Reception is open daily 8:00 am – 8:00 pm

Christmas Day: open for limited hours, please enquire with reception.

Check In and Check Out Times:

Check-In Time: from 2:00 pm. Please advise if arriving later than 6:00 pm so arrangements can be made for a late check-in.

Check-Out Time: no later than 10:00 am on the day of departure unless by prior arrangement.

Cancellations:

There will be no refund for early departure or late arrival. This includes conditions due to natural causes i.e. weather. This also applies to guests who are asked to leave the premises because of their behaviour. Guests are liable for the full amount of stay as booked.

Management reserves the right to cancel a reservation if the alteration reduces the reservation to below minimum stay requirements and cancellation penalties will apply.

Confirmation Email:

These are generated once deposit has been paid and sent at time of booking or re-booking. Please check them carefully and notify us of any changes or all details will be taken as correct.

Visitors:

Visitors are welcome but must leave their vehicles on Mokoroa Street. All visitors are at the sole discretion of the management.  All visitors are the accommodation holder’s responsibility and must leave Parklands Motel Te Anau by 8:00pm.  Please we ask all visitors to sign in at reception.

Park Over Caravans/Campervans:

Require a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness displayed and comply with LPG Standard (As/NZS3100). All Caravans and campervans must be fully self contained and are not permitted to use the kitchen facilities at Parklands Motel Te Anau.

Parklands Motel Te Anau Information and Rules

Conduct:

We reserve the right to charge a bond to all bookings, refundable after departure if all rules are adhered to.

Parklands Motel Te Anau does not accept abuse in any form aimed at our staff members and/or patrons. If you are found to be abusing our staff members or patrons, we reserve the right to have you immediately removed from the premises without any reimbursement of accommodation costs. Parklands Motel Te Anau accepts no responsibility for any additional accommodation charges incurred due to an eviction from our premises.

We are a family-based motel and ask that you are thoughtful to your fellow guests at all times. Complete quietness between the hours of 10:00 pm and before 7:00 am. The only exception is New Year’s Eve, which is 12:30 am.  No ambient music or radios after 8:00 pm

Parkland Motel Te Anau reserves the right to refuse entry and/or request termination of booking without refund regarding disorderly conduct.

Parking:

One allocated parking space per accommodation unit, please notify management if you require more.

Smoking:

We have a non-smoking policy in all our accommodation units and communal areas. When smoking please be considerate of others.

Damage:

The person listed on the booking is responsible for any charges incurred due to any damage, breakages or soiling of Parklands Motel Te Anau property.

Children:

Children must be supervised by a parent. Child ages are 3 - 17 years inclusive – where child rates are offered. On all accommodation infants under 3 years are free.

Playground/Tramp/Bike/Scooter/Skateboards Policy:

Parents are responsible for children’s safety and well-being.

Safety and consideration to other guests is critical when playing on playground, tramp and riding bikes, skateboards, or scooters. Helmets must be worn when riding bikes. As a safety measure, No use of playground, tramp, bikes, skateboards, and scooters from dusk till 7.00am.

Gang Insignia:

Gang insignia including patches must not be worn or displayed in the premises of Parklands Motel Te Anau
